Did you know that students who graduate from the Pontiac School District are eligible for up to $13,000 each year in tuition support for college, trade school, or other accredited career training programs?
For over a decade, the Pontiac Promise Zone has been awarding young scholars with tuition scholarships and reimbursements for the cost of required books and materials. Over 300 graduates from Pontiac School District schools have received this tuition support — with $225,000 awarded in 2021 alone!
Part of the application process is for students and their families to complete the (FAFSA), although their eligibility for federal aid will not impact how much funding students receive from the Pontiac Promise Zone.

- Attending 10th – 12th grades: 75%
- Attending 11th and 12th grades: 50%

All applicants are also eligible for a $400 book reimbursement per semester, regardless of their scholarship funding.
